I find it hard to resist bright colours, and wanted to combine as many as possible using the glass tapestry technique. These colours just sang to me so I had to use them!

The design is built by first fusing fine glass threads onto a clear base, which are then cut into strips and reassembled to form the intricate pattern. The final piece is surrounded by a border of clear glass and slumped into a gently curved platter shape, making it both decorative and functional.
