Full description

An octagonal porcelain mug with a delicate celadon glaze that is transparent white where thin. It is pale blue if thicker in the hand imprints, texture marks and where it has pooled inside. There are vertical splashes of olive iron decoration that causes the glaze to flow around the texture marks. The bottom is unglazed white porcelain, flat so that it does not retain dishwasher water. The mug was made with a UK porcelain and, after biscuit firing and glazing the piece was fired to 1300C to make it impermeable and very durable.

- The mug is dishwasher and microwave safe. It measures about 11cm tall by 10cm wide including the handle.

- The bottoms is impressed with my seal, the letter P, and its identity number 9806
