One of my favourite Northumberland beaches - with Holy Island at one end, and Bamburgh Castle at the other!
During the 2020 lockdown one of the things I missed most (apart from family, friends and the pub) was the nearby beaches. I've had this project in my head for a few years but the coronavirus lockdown gave me the kick up the backside (and time) to get on with it! I drew sketches from pictures in my phone, then made them into original linoprints (where you print one colour layer, then cut into the lino again - and repeat - until the print is finished).
