This card is taken from my original Collagraph print Swallows Over Grassland.
I love to see Swallows returning to our shores in the Spring indicating that Summer is just around the corner.
On one of the walks I often do near our house there is a large grass bank bordering two fields. The Swallows swoop over the top of the bank and our heads as we go by underneath it on the lower side of the field.
If you stand still at this point they will also fly around and towards you as they feed on the wing. Simply one of the best experiences, and one I often enjoy.
