Proseprints is keen to be green, our printed greeting cards are on recycled paper, with bio-degradable cellos, we use paper based packaging and are introducing non-plastic packaging for protecting artwork. We also support a local conservation charity, donating money from the sales of our cards and artwork.
I was inspired by the colour and vigour of the nasturtiums growing in my garden and then found a brilliant poem by the poet Thom Gunn, named nasturtiums which is all about the flower being beautiful and resilient and able to thrive on difficult ground. A poem and flower for today's difficult times.
We have linked up with a local environmental charity - Torrington Commons Conservators - and donate £5 from the sale of every print.

Full description
Nasturtiums depicts the flowers in a peacock feather designed vase. It is a hand painted monoprint from a lino block and printed on a hand press with finishing details in water based drawing inks. The artwork is very colourful, with a background and vase in watery blues and greens and the nasturtium flowers in orange, yellow and red.
It is signed and titled in pencil by the artist.
The print is supplied in a textured cream mount.
It is a variable edition; every hand painted print is unique.
Mount size: to fit a frame measuring 10 by 8 inches.
Printed on Fabriano paper using water based inks.
Colour fixed using a waterbased craft spray.
The colour may vary slightly from the image.
Proseprints retain all reproduction rights and copyrights.
