This card is taken from my original Collagraph print Tentative Twilight Steps inspired by The English poet John Clare and his poem ‘The Badger’
“The badger grunting on his woodland track
With shaggy hide and sharp nose scrowed with black
Roots in the bushes and the woods, and makes
A great high burrow in the ferns and brakes...”
His poem goes on to tell, sadly, the woeful tale of how the badger is then caught and baited.... such difficult times and treatment these beautiful and often miss understood creatures have had to endure throughout history and still to this present day.

Square card measuring 148 x 148mm, left blank inside for your own message. Comes with a square, white self seal envelope and wrapped in a compostable cellophane bag for protection.
