This robin themed hat is a KNITTING PATTERN to make the featured hat and NOT the actual item. The hat has a ribbed welt and a stocking stitch body with a little flying robin motif Swiss Darned (duplicate stitched) on to the lower section of the hat body. The hats pictured are worked using a lovely soft pure wool yarn in worsted weight and are topped with an optional pompom.
The pattern is written in English and covers sizes from baby to adult and the instructions are written for both knitting flat on two needles with a seam at the back, or in the round using a circular needle with no seaming necessary. (You may, therefore, only wish to print the appropriate pages for your chosen project.)
To make the hat you will need worsted weight yarn, 4.5mm/US 7 needles, a tapestry needle, stitch marker and an optional pom pom maker.
There are no postage costs - the pattern will be emailed as a pdf file within 48 hours of payment being received, to the email address registered with Folksy unless you let me know otherwise. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this pdf file, if you do not have this program it is free to download from www.adobe.com
