This is a new discovery for me in how well chenille stitch and tubular netting work together! In this necklace, I’ve enjoyed using similar shades of blue to create a deep, rich necklace that should add a touch of glamour to your evening out.

Full description
I have beadwoven this necklace using quality Japanese seed beads in a rich, dark silver lined blue and pale clear blue tones, using two techniques. It has a centre of tubular netting, filled with semiprecious midnight blue howlite beads. In order to keep a lighter weight and flexibility to the piece, I have created a rope on either side using chenille stitch, which is wonderfully supple. It is finished with Sterling Silver findings, including a secure 11mm lobster clasp.
Total necklace length is approximately 52.5 (c.20 3/4 inches), including clasp. The central section is just under 10cm (4 inches) long. Each blue howlite bead is 6mm in diameter.
This necklace is supplied in a gift box that includes a small square anti tarnish tab to help protect the silver from tarnishing for up to 12 months. Care should be taken when storing silver items to assist in reducing tarnish.
The findings on this necklace have not been hallmarked as the silver used falls under the legal exemption weight; however, the clasp carries a ‘925’ stamp.
