I had the idea of making fairy doors when my daughter was much younger and getting the occasional visit from the tooth fairy.
I love adding the letterboxes and door knobs and wooden textures as it really makes them come to life. I work on each door individually embellishing them with beads or gems or semi precious stones and adding a touch of glitter.
The doors have a flat, unglazed back, so porous if you want to attach it permanently I used hard as nails adhesive. If you want to attach it temporarily, I would recommend using some double sided sticky tabs or blue tac.

Welcome to my magical range of fairy doors, every home should have one!
Each fairy door is unique, some have an added door handle or letterbox, they are decorated with different glazes, some having a crystallised or two tone colour. I've then added an extra bit of sparkle with some glitter, gems or semi precious stones.
This fairy door has an orange glaze and is decorated with a red glitter and little orange gems along the bottom of the door. The fairy door measures 4" to the top of the arch.
