Hi, I've lived and worked in Brighton for 25 years now and can't really imagine being anywhere else. My studio is in Brighton where all my lovely pottery is made. I first discovered my love of clay when I was studying decorative arts in Nottingham.
I've always been inspired by nature, with a strong imagery of flowers running through my designs. I guess I'm a bit of a flower power girl and love to make things and surround myself with beautiful objects. I've been spending time recently drawing and sketching birds and then developing my ideas into ceramics.
I'm so excited to be developing my folksy shop, and will be selling a variety of items, beautiful brooches, bird designs and animal designs. Some heart hangings and trinket dishes with embossed lace and flower prints.
I also run pottery workshops around Sussex and in schools.
