I have a collection of vintage sea charts that I really want to incorporate into my cards. These charts have already been recycled once as the backs have been written on at some point in their history so I don't mind cutting them up. This does leave only small sections that don't have marker pen showing through, adding to the challenge!

Handmade card featuring a sailing boat made from pieces of recycled vintage sea charts
The boat is mounted on dark blue recycled card placed onto a small square cream card
The envelope is lined with a piece of co-ordinating sea chart for added interest
Perfect for any occasion - birthdays, thank you, thinking of you, get well or just to say hello!
The cream card and envelope that I have sourced are made from recycled materials, the lightly flecked appearance on the card comes from organic fruit and nut residues
The envelope flap tucks in, it is not gummed or self adhesive, but could be glued or taped shut if necessary
Size 9.5 x 9.5 cm
The card will be sent in recycled packaging, I am trying to reduce my plastic waste so am not using cello packaging
