I love to use crewel embroidery wool as the colours and textures are lovely. Although crewel embroidery dates back to Tudor times, it can look fresh and modern too!

This embroidery piece is hand embroidered using crewel wool which has a fabulous texture. The flower heads are depicted with many French knots, and the stems and leaves are created using chain stitch. The bright pink pot glows against the grey linen background.
This embroidered piece would look great as part of a gallery wall or propped on a shelf with other treasure.
The embroidery is 5” wide and framed in a natural wood embroidery hoop. The back is covered with a card disc.
It is wrapped carefully in tissue paper and tucked in a letter box friendly cardboard box, so it arrives with you in perfect condition. 1st Class postage is free to U.K. addresses.
