The scrunchie is made round a think hair elastic, giving strength and security, for any hair type, whether thick and wavy or thin and fine. The clips are strong crocodile clips, which will hold securely in the hair.

Measurements approximately: Scrunchie - width 1.25" (3 cm). Bow - length 5.5" (14 cm), width at widest part 1.5" (4 cm). Clips: 46 mm, Bows - length 2.75" (7 cm), width 1.5" (4 cm).

I don't like to waste anything, let alone throw things away and this is no exception with scraps of my fabric.

My childhood hair accessories are so on trend again, this in the form of the brilliant scrunchies. Scrunchies are far more healthier for your hair, as well as looking stunning and fun.

With my scraps of fabrics, either sewn together to ensure I have a big enough piece of fabric, or with just large enough pieces, my hair accessories range begins. Where possible I will have sets, if only a single item, then this is due to no more of the fabric left over.

I love making scrunchies with, each one sewn round a normal thick hair elastic/band, traditionally used these days in our hair for ponytails and alike. Then making bows, out of two pieces of scrap material, then embellishing, giving that little unique touch to an accessory that will dress up any hairstyle.
