I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, started with making clothes and accessories for my dolls and teddies, all be it with a needle and thread. Then when I was old enough learnt to us a sewing machine and oh boy did this just open the world up!! I started making my own clothes and when I flew the nest, made all my home furnishings from cushions to curtains.
I wanted to do more and began to discover the fantastic array of fabrics to be found, which led to experimenting, by putting different types of fabrics together, mainly scraps to make a large piece of fabric and enhancing by adding in trimmings, ribbons or satin stitch. Then once completed, using this to make something unique, like a bag, storage box etc. Many items I first gave to friends and family, then someone said you 'should sell your items, they are unique and designer, nothing you'd see in any shop'. I decided to give it a go and attended local craft fairs and having received an overwhelming response to my items have now decided to share further a field.
