Original screenprinted 'Pattern Rabbit' design tote bag featuring a red patterned bird print.

Hand-pulled screen-print design in single colour of a bright red sits against the natural fabric of the bag at it's centre.

The design is of a song bird filled with floral pattern within it's body, the bird is facing towards the left and is printed in red.

Reverse of the bag features designer logo.

The design originates from hand drawn artwork which has been combined together and turned into a 'screen' ready for printing.

Please note that any imperfections within prints add to their uniqueness as all are individually printed by hand.

Design is from a set of floral patterned animals.

This is one of my first sreenprint designs. So I love pattern in general and once deciding I was going to turn this bird into a screenprint I thought it was a bit too empty within the body. Instead of adding feather detail I decided to put a pattern within my illustration. The floral repeat is a design I recently created from one of my flower sketches and thought it would work quite well. I liked the result so much that I've added the pattern into some more of my animal artwork.
