Item details

A single flower created with seaglass and seapottery with an inspirational quote on watercolour paper. The frame will come with glass measuring appropriately 19cm x 19cm. All photos were taken without glass to avoid reflections. Please note that the frame has a rustic look to it which may not obvious from the photos. All loose items are not included.

Each artwork is "one of a kind" as materials used are natural and kept exactly the way I found them, true to how the sea tumbled them. Hours were spent walking miles along the coastlines to find these beautiful treasures. It takes a lot of practice to spot a seaglass or seapottery especially when they're camouflaged among sand, shingle and pebbles. To create an artwork, I often use days to find the right size and look of individual seaglass/seapottery to create a piece that I will be happy to share with others.

I created this quote to reflect how decade's ago unwanted glass and pottery were thrown into the sea and despite being tumbled among the strong waves and currents for years, they turned out more beautiful than ever. Today, these beautiful tumbled pieces called seaglass / seapottery are used to create gorgeous artwork that are loved and admired by many. So just like us, whatever struggles we had that broke us, we should try and use our broken pieces to come out stronger, more beautiful and create positivity for others to admire.
