Full description
A beautiful fused glass blue tit sitting on a branch, an ideal gift for a bird lover.
Designed and handmade by me in my home studio in Cheshire, England.
Each bird is made from 2 pieces of thin glass with powder added to give the characteristic colours. His beak and little legs are made from wire which is inserted between the two pieces before the tit is placed into the kiln for firing.
Being hand made each bird is unique and has his own personality. He will arrive on a small branch, usually conifer or silver birch, that has been cut from my garden and hand finished.
He may be facing left or right.
Would be ideal sitting on a windowsill with a view of the garden beyond.
