Full description
A pretty, hand-embroidered needle book, entirely hand-stitched from vintage textiles and oordinating vintage therads.
A portion of hand dyed fabric, cut from a vintage napkin, so as to make a feature of the original 'double ladder-stitch' hem, was hand embroidered, in a vintage style, daisy motif, using vintage threads. The cover is finished by an edging of blanket stitch in a pink cotton thread.
The needle book is lined in a batik style, cream and salmon fabric. Two pieces of vintage soft flannelette are folded and securely stitched in place, to provide four 'pages' for your needles and pins. The needle case closes by a button hole stitch loop over a cream button.
