I found this gorgeous Greengate tablecloth in a charity shop and immediately picked it up as I loved the vintage floral pattern. Having used it for several years it finally suffered one too many Ribena and tea spillages, so I decided it needed transforming into something else. I made myself a shopper bag and a tea towel and still had enough fabric leftover for three more bags. I think the faded floral pattern works beautifully with the polka dot lining - one of my favourite pattern combinations. I keep a version of this in my own handbag so that I'm never without a shopping bag when I need one!
