Full description
These cute little heart earrings are made from aluminium which I have dyed a dark charcoal and printed with a gold leaf design. The dye is made permanent through heat and the colour becomes part of the metal. I cut out the heart shapes by hand using a jewellers saw and file the edges to give a nice finish. Finally I have hung them on 15mm sterling silver hoops. The hearts measure approximately 12mm x 12mm.
