This lovely fabric button pendant features a beautiful crinkly poppy surrounded by foliage and has a soft vintage feel.
This Liberty fabric is called Nina and is part of their Winterbourne Collection – named after an exquisite Arts and Crafts period villa in Birmingham.
This Nina poppy pattern is printed on Liberty’s Lasenby cotton, in soft peach and sage green hues giving it a delicate and romantic twist.
I've created a handmade flat backed button using this beautiful fabric – a trio of poppy flowers, surrounded by soft green foliage.
Then, I’ve secured the button into a silver plated (zinc alloy base) round pendant tray. The reverse of the pendant has a lovely decorative swirling dot pattern.
The fabric button itself measures 38mm, but set within the pendant surround measures 4cm wide by 5cm long – this includes the bail.
I have added a silver plated 18 inch (45 cm) flat oval trace chain as standard (other lengths are available), the links of the chain measure 4.5 x 3 mm and there’s a 12mm lobster clasp at one end, with a jump ring at the other (it can be adjustable as the lobster clasp does fit inside the chain links). The chain and pendant blank are both nickel and lead free.
This lovely unique pendant will come to you safe and carefully packaged in a UK Made eco-friendly recycled kraft card jewellery box (hand-folded by me!) - perfect for lovers of Liberty fabric, poppies or Arts & Crafts movement (or as a treat for yourself!).
