This spectacular necklace is an explosion of colour - red, orange, lime green, light blue, pink, lilac and purple.
It contains 14 beaded beads that I’ve made by twisting clear silver-lined seed beads into spiral designs on different coloured wire.
The beaded beads are surrounded by small round beads in matching colours, which are studded with rhinestones. The necklace also contains small faceted clear glass beads with an iridescent coating, and long silver twisted tube-shaped beads (known as bugle beads).
This is a very long necklace, and also really lightweight and quite slim. It has no clasp as it slips easily over the head. When worn, it covers the bustline.
Necklace length: 84cm.
Necklace width (at widest point): 0.7cm.

This necklace is very colourful and very sparkly. I picked up a pot of rhinestone-studded beads in different colours, and the idea for a multicoloured necklace sprang from there.
