This is a glaze combination that I created after holidays to the Isle of Tiree where the colour of the sea and sand are so vivid they live in my mind for months after each visit.

Full description
Handmade white stoneware ceramic tea or coffee mug.
I made this mug on my potter's wheel. Once thrown it was left to dry until leather hard, then the handle was added and pulled directly on the mug, my makers mark is then added. It was bisque fired then 3 different glazes, all lead free, were applied before it was fired a second time to 1220 oC.
The inside of the mug has a clear glossy glaze. The outside has a blue-green mat glaze and a cream colour mat glaze above that. Where these 2 glazes meet and react there is some interesting colour and texture change.

Holds approx 300 -350ml
Dishwasher safe though hand washing is recommended.
This listing is for 1 mug. I make mugs in small batches and there is always some variation between each item, making them all delightfully unique.
