A handmade macramé handbag perfect for the summer with in a pale lilac colour (the manufacturer calls this colour highland heather).
This bag is part of a bee themed collection inspired by some bee fabric I discovered at Quarry Bank.
The large D shaped handles are made from bamboo.
Two pretty rows of hearts decorate the middle of the bag (one right way up and the other upside down).
A flap folds over from the back to be fastened with a handmade bee button. The design on the button has been burned into the wood using pyrography and then polished using natural bees wax.
The bag is double lined and glimpses of the rich purple outer lining can be seen through the design. The inner lining is made using the bee fabric characteristic in this collection.
The fabric has been woven by the National Trust at Quarry Bank on the historic looms.
A thin sheet of recyclable plastic has been laid between the lining and the base of the bag to add durability and studs have been attached to the base to protect the bag from the ground.

This bag has been made from 100% cotton in the Welsh Valleys and has a little beaded Ejog Creations logo attached to the side.

I make all of my creations using my own designs.

ALL PARCELS ARE SENT IN PLASTIC FREE PACKAGING.

In February I visited Quarry Bank National Trust, where they have an old working cotton mill.There I was shown the process of turning raw cotton into thread. The thread was then woven into fabric on the looms in the factory by the National Trust staff. The cloth was available to purchase in the shop and I loved the bee fabric so much I thought it would be perfect for a collection of bags.
I could't find any buttons I liked so my husband suggested I made my own. At first I thought this was a bad idea but in the end I was pleased with the results and they make the bags more unique.
