Wire flower stems with cotton crocheted flower heads add cheer to any space.
These everlasting flowers have first been shaped and then sprayed black to prevent the metal from rusting, before the flower heads are crocheted.
A wood slice is included to arrange the flowers. The drilled holes are only slightly wider than the wire, but not much to ensure a super snug and secure fit.
The maximum height of the tallest flower when in the wood slice is approximately 24.5cm.
As each item is handmade, and the wood slices sawn by hand the measurements and shapes may vary slightly.
The flowers are removed from the wood slice for posting to keep them nice and flat. Each one is threaded through a thick piece of felt which is then tied with twine. This keeps the delicate flowers held firmly in place on their journey. The flowers are easily removed from the felt to arrange.
When arranging in the wood slice, always hold the stems by the base to avoid bending the wire.
