Full description
This is a medium sized decorative bowl finished in a lovely pale blue glaze in an overlap leaving part of the bowl un-glazed inside and out. The glaze varies from pale blue to almost white in some places and the bowl is decorated in a pattern around the outside to bring out crystalline variations in the glaze. Not only is it a nice decorative piece, it has may practical household uses.
It is hand made, thrown on a wheel, in stoneware clay.
It is fired to 1265oC and will hold water and is heat resistant and food safe.
It is approx 6" in diameter and 4" tall..
