Smart black and red leather purse with detachable shoulder strap.

This large leather purse has plenty of room for cards, notes and coins. There are seven individual pockets for cards, a large spacious coin pocket (fastened with two press studs) and two pockets suitable for notes - one behind the card slots, and one behind the coin pocket.

The outer parts of the wallet and coin purse section are made from a black distressed Italian veg-tanned leather. The card pockets are made from a softer upholstery leather in a lovely contrasting red. The shoulder strap is black.

This purse is hand-stitched using traditional saddle stitching techniques creating a durable item that is made to last.

The purse measures 173mm x 230mm (6.75inch x 9inch) opened out flat, and 173mm x 110mm x 27mm (6.75inch x 4.5inch x 1inch) when folded. The strap measures 119-129cm (47-51inch).

Someone asked me if I could do one of our large purses with a shoulder strap on it. I said "yes, of course - what colour purse would you like?" and she chose black and red. As soon as I'd made it for her I knew I had to make another and make it available online :)
