In the current situation, with the outbreak of COVID-19, I have adjusted my shipping times to allow for a slower postal service and for me to take less frequent trips out to the post office. Please allow for some extra delivery time when ordering for a specific occasion. You may be lucky and get your item within a couple of days but I hope you'll understand if you find that you have to wait a little longer than usual. Thank you for your patience, Sarah x
Set of 6 greeting cards, each measuring 12 x 12cm, presented in a lovely recycled box as pictured.
This design, in its selection of 6 colourways, is inspired by the cycle of changing seasons and the influence of the sun and moon on the weather. It would make a lovely original Christmas card, or could be sent to a friend to mark the celebration of Yule or the Winter Solstice.
These cards are digitally printed onto good quality recycled card and come with recycled Kraft envelopes.
These cards have design motifs based on seasonal plants, animals and insects. I've gathered my ideas from the observation of nature while walking my dog and also from browsing through my collection of books, especially those with Medieval illuminations and ancient symbols.
The original artwork, which includes elements for all 4 seasons, is a mixture of pen drawings and linocuts which I cut up and then collaged. I finalised this design for Winter and created it in a range of different colours and my intention is to complete a set which will also include spring, summer and autumn.
