In the current situation, with the outbreak of COVID-19, I have adjusted my shipping times to allow for a slower postal service and for me to take less frequent trips out to the post office. I studied illustration and design at art college many moons ago and now I live in North Dorset in a little Victorian terraced house with my partner who is a thatcher, our two daughters, plus our dog and 2 cats.
We have a long, thin garden and at the very end of this is my studio which has the perfect amount of windows for gazing out of. From there I can see lots of plants and garden birds; both of which provide plenty of ideas for my designs which I use on greetings cards, bunting sets and linocuts. I'm also inspired by 20th century British artists, medieval manuscripts, folk art and book illustration.
For a few years I had a bricks and mortar shop in town but these days I really enjoy building up good relationships with my online customers so do feel free to contact me about my work. Also, I now occasionally run courses for beginners to learn the basics in linocut.
