It was inspired by Dickensian hand held candle sticks. The leaping hare handle took me a year to get right, so it sits comfortably in your hand.

A stoneware hare handled candle stick glazed in blue-grey. It measures 12cm bowl diameter, 2.5cm diameter candle holder by11cm tall.
