I love bees and we all know how important they are for our survival, and that of many other species on this beautiful planet! Many people have tiny gardens, or balconies, so I thought these would be a great space saving growing opportunity.
The bee hive texture is created by impressing a repurposed bit of rubbish rubber car mat. The bees are made using a little ceramic mould I made, using a metal bee that fell off a key ring I'd been using. It's amazing what you can make using rubbish and broken things! The rough texture area of the pot is made by rolling a fir cone around on the clay surface.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
We have a lovely range of rustic terracotta plant pots with a bee hive and busy buzzy bees in the design. They're perfect for small (hopefully bee-loving) plants for patios and balconies outside. Each pot has a small dish.
When the soil has been watered, excess water will naturally drain through the pot as there is no waterproof glaze layer. This may cause a characterful change in colour.
Frost-proofing, should be ok, but is not guaranteed, especially where wet planted pots are left out during freezing weather, causing expansion and potential cracking. It would probably be best to either empty the pot or move it indoors during this time.
