I made a drainer for myself to replace a plastic cutlery drainer that was past its best. After using it for a while I realised how much better a ceramic drainer was than plastic, it didn't tip over and it was so easy to keep clean (just wash it with the rest of the dishes or put it in the dishwasher). The big plus was of course no more plastic! The 4 small base pegs means it sits into a draining board without wobbling.
