Full description
This stained glass panel features a bird amongst the branches.
There are many stages for making a stained glass panel so I’ll keep it brief :) I begin by drawing up the design then hand cut two pieces of glass one red and one blue. I then mix and apply the paint and then place the two pieces of glass in a kiln and fire it. Once cooled the glass is then leaded and soldered. I then cement the panel and leave over night before removing excess cement and cleaning the panel. Finally I make and solder on the hanging loops.
This small panel is approx 22cm by 8cm.
