A piece of wood I have had for many years, picked up from the local shop when I first started turning, I decided it was time to use it. I turned this platter (my first) and it came out really nicely with some lovely spalting lines. It would make a lovely decoration in any home.

Full description
Spalted beech Platter, 222mm x 34mm High, finished in Danish oil. A nicely figured spalted beech platter, with a nice wide rim and ogee back. The spalting makes nice streaks and the brown pips in the beech are striking.
