The generally well known Old Testament story of the Bible, of Jonah and the whale, lends itself well to my folk art style and love of narrative. There is however such depth of meaning to the story, often missed, that points to a Saviour to come in the New Testament. I am increasingly drawn to biblical narratives as subject matter for my artworks.
