Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to Europe, the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.
I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

This collection of cat toys is all handmade with love and care, using the very best materials and comes in a cardboard box that kitty will probably love as much as the toys...
The box contains a machine and hand stitched catnip cuddle whale and a hand built feather fascinator toy - you can read all about them in their separate listings in my shop. The 3rd toy in the box is a sheepy ball crocheted using an undyed eco virgin wool and stuffed with pure, soft carded wool and a handful of quality catnip. Although it does smell a bit sheepy from new, the wool is nice and soft and will felt a little over time becoming softer and a little bit fuzzier, but won't shed onto the carpet. It has a circumference of 8.5 inches / 21.5cm and is the perfect size for rolling and wrestling. The colour of the wool I use is neutral and beige or grey.
If you want to personalise your collection with extra pieces or you want me to send it direct to the recipient with a hand written message, please contact me - most things are possible for kitty!
Cats are not the easiest loved ones to buy for - most of them have a fairly limited range of interest that generally involves eating, sleeping, hunting playing and hairball management. You might think that the humans the cats live with are easy to buy for because you can just buy them some cute kitty note cards or a book telling them everything they already know about cats but, au contraire! We cat carers are not always so keen on those cat themed gifts as you might think...
As a cat lover and slave myself for many years, I know that most cats love to exercise their hunting instincts through play with their human slaves, and many of them are encouraged to do this via the delights of catnip and toys that smell, feel and look like real prey, like feathers, for example.
This kind of play is healthy for kitty and strengthens the bonds between them and their human slaves, who will probably buy an inordinate number of garishly coloured cat toys from pet shops over the years!
