Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! My shop is currently closed while I move house. I plan to be open again by the end of July (WiFi willing!) and will be reading messages throughout, except the week of 15th July. If there's anything you would like to reserve or commission, don't hesitate to get in touch.

In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

I love to use art that I admire to make things and this beautiful wintery fox is from an original artwork by artist Valerie Greeley - the same print hangs on my living room wall and she kindly created a fabric for me using it.
The bag has been designed for all types of stitchers, whether you love embroidery or cross stitch or patchwork - but it would be useful for all types of creatives as a great place to store a project or work in progress and the supplies used to create it.
To make the bag, I use the artwork panel in the centre and flank it with an Essex Linen fabric in a copper colour with gold metallic threads on each side (it's the same on the back too). It's interfaced with woven cotton then padded with polyester fleece and lined with a cotton / polyester blend linen look fabric in a neutral shade. There's a very deep pocket inside that runs the whole width, great for separating your work in progress from your supplies. The zip is installed so the bag opens up wide and has a metal stop on the end. The bag comes with a coordinating vinyl fronted swing label holder and a couple of labels that you can make a note of "what's in the bag" should you forget and quickly want to see.
The dimensions of the bag are shown in the last photo and it's shown with a 10" hoop and skeins of floss for scale. Remember that the dimensions inside will be slightly smaller. If you'd like a bag made of different dimensions or with different fabrics, please contact me for a quote.
