There are many black and white objects, animals and substances in our world - zebras, piano keyboards, and salt & pepper, to name a few … this particular “Mandala artstone” was inspired by the markings of a very sweet black & white cat.

Full description

This Black & White artstone has been handcrafted from robust CrystalCal which is a particularly hard Plaster of Paris. It has been allowed to set for a week and then meticulously hand-painted in a Mandala pattern, using acrylic paint. A few days later, allowing the paint to thoroughly dry, it has been resin coated, to give a super-glossy shine and hard finish. The resin has been allowed to cure thoroughly for several days. The length is 14cm, it is 10cm wide, 2.5cm high and weighs 220g. A soft black pad has been applied to the reverse to protect your furniture. As with all handcrafted items there will be slight imperfections in the item. The photographs portray a true representation of the stone. It makes a perfect paperweight, or decorative item.
