These dainty studs are made using sterling silver and charoite cabochons and are a unique, one-off design!

Charoite is a relatively new find having only come to market a few decades ago after its discovery by the banks of the river Chara in Russia. The gorgeous shade of purple is completely natural, often flecked with black or white inclusions but these tiny ovals are a perfect, opaque lavender/lilac shade.

Each setting was made by hand from fine and sterling silver sheet using traditional silversmithing techniques. The posts were soldered onto the backs of the settings and come supplied with the butterfly backs.

These studs will come presented in a white, branded gift box perfect for giving as a gift or as a bit of self love! They'll be posted in a thin, card box that will fit through most standard letterboxes.

Standard postage is via Royal Mail Tracked 48 but you can now select shipping upgrades before checkout including Special Delivery. Please note that I usually post your order out the very next day after you order UNLESS I am making something from scratch for you. Please make sure you check the listing details for lead time.
I've also added the option to have your jewellery gift wrapped! All items will come gift boxed as standard but if you'd like to have the box wrapped in beautiful paper you can upgrade. This is especially handy if you'd like the order shipped directly to the recipient - I'll always leave the invoice out in this case! Just let me know that it's for a gift.

I've always been fascinated by stones and fossils especially anything different or rare.

I was drawn to these Charoite cabochons for the colour first and then realised I'd never come across it before! It's not often seen (a bonus, surely! It's pretty rare!) and it has polished up extremely well with a lovely smooth, shiny finish. And, to top it off, there are no known synthetic versions so this is the real deal!
