Hello hello!
Standard postage is via Royal Mail Tracked 48 but you can now select shipping upgrades before checkout including Special Delivery. Please note that I usually post your order out the very next day after you order UNLESS I am making something from scratch for you. Please make sure you check the listing details for lead time.
I've also added the option to have your jewellery gift wrapped! All items will come gift boxed as standard but if you'd like to have the box wrapped in beautiful paper you can upgrade. This is especially handy if you'd like the order shipped directly to the recipient - I'll always leave the invoice out in this case! Just let me know that it's for a gift.

Growing up on the East Sussex coast, I used to relish trips to Brighton so that I could splurge pocket money in the bead shop or marvel at the crystal specimens in the spiritual shops.
When I was a teen I'd spend Saturday's at my Dad's Mini restoration garage cutting shapes from sheet aluminium to make custom keyrings, stamping and polishing my creations before proudly handing them to my closest friends.
Fast forward to today and I now have my own little creative space in Wiltshire where I've finally merged those happy, care free memories into a full-time, silversmithing jewellery making business! And all from a one day course in how to make a silver ring!
Along the way I've gained an Honours degree in Forensic & Analytical Chemsitry, several years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a lot of adventures travelling the world. Oh, and meeting my awesome life buddy, Ricky!
When Ricky and I travel around in our little van I'm inspired by the landscapes we explore and the history we uncover. It filters into my work whether that's the locally sourced gemstones I gather or the doodles that I draw in the van on chilled evenings with a cuppa.
I've selected some of these illustrations to become incorporated in my work as dainty charms. The illustrations are printed onto archival paper and sealed underneath glass before being set into sterling silver using the traditional stone setting technique. To create each range I've also worked on creating silver charms to pair with each illustration and added gemstone beads for a pop of colour.
To further develop these collections I found myself drawn back to working with metal especially hand stamping and so I'm able to offer personalised rings and necklaces. My rings also feature some of my favourite quotes and phrases that tie in nicely to my ethos and my work. I love that they are all stackable and so with just three or four you can make your own unique combinations.
Recently I've been pushing my skills set so that I can start using some of the more rare and unusual gemstone cabochons that I've stashed away in my antique desktop drawers. This involves using fine silver to wrap around the edge of the stone, solder closed, solder onto a sheet of silver, saw out, add detail, attach a bail, file, polish, add a chain and finally, finally place the stone in and carefully rub the edges of the fine silver over to keep the stone in place. It's time consuming but so satisfying!
So have you been to my shop and had a peek?! Sweet! I hope you like what you saw and if you'd like to follow along and see what I'm up to next come and find me on Facebook, Insta or on my website www.gracefuldeviant.com
