Sea Dreams is a mixed media painting of the ocean by the coast, painted after a holiday in Dorset. The painting is in a card mount, so the final size is 30cm x30cm and it is ready for framing. The sea is shown in a variety of blues and purples which is also reflected in the sky and the rocks. The full moon is out. Ideal as a gift or to recall a happy time by the sea.

I live about as far from the sea as I can get in Britain so holidays at the coast are always special. I do a bit of en plein air painting or preliminary sketches and photos there but as I mainly do mixed media it isn’t possible to do those out of the studio. When I return I find myself painting seascapes so I keep a bit of the sea with me. This was one of those paintings after a visit to Dorset.
