Welcome to Rudy & the Rowan Tree - home to my experiments in wood, pattern and colour.
Handcrafted and made (very) slow in Scotland.
I moved to the countryside in 2019 and had been building up a stash of wood offcuts from other projects, intending to use them for firewood for the coming winter; realising that a lot of this wood was high quality pine which was too good to burn, I came up with the idea of using it to make little houses (a shape which is relatively easy to cut with limited woodworking skills/equipment). As it turns out, little houses are not only en vogue but they are the perfect canvas for experimenting with colour and pattern!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

This one of a kind little wooden house is made from reclaimed wood, painted green, and screen-printed by hand in layers of pink and duck egg blue. The back of the house is blank.
This little house measures approx 6.7cm tall, 4.5cm wide and 3cm deep.
It is inspired by my love of pattern and colour and would make a completely unique gift for a new home, a 5th wedding anniversary, birthday or Christmas, or even as a present to yourself!
