I use old and damaged books to make paper bunting - an alternative way to view the beautiful illustrations which would otherwise be hidden away. These lovely bird drawings are from a vintage guide to British birds.

Full description
10 pages of pretty illustrations of British birds made into a length of bunting - mostly garden birds such as blue tit, chiffchaff and thrush, painted in beautiful pale greens and browns. As the images / pages are double-sided the bunting length can be hung so that it can be viewed from both sides.
Each page measures 11cm x 18cm and has been edged in a pale cream machine stitching which gives some strength to the paper. These have been stitched to a matching pale binding 2cm apart giving a total length of 190cm (includes 30cm each end for tying).
