Full description
Hand stitched felt ornament, perfect to keep you company at your desk, or to keep watch from a windowsill.
This little blue tit is made from felt and hand-embellished with embroidery and beads. The eyes are sequins and the bill is ribbon stiffened with clear nail varnish. The felt is made from 100% post consumer plastic bottles (polyester), which makes a lovely soft, colourful and fade resistant material. It is filled with off-cuts and has a few 1p coins inside for stability.
It stands 6cms high and is nearly 7.5cms to the tip of the tail.
Though definitely not a toy, this colourful blue tit would make an ideal decorative gift for a gardener, bird watcher or just someone who likes pretty things...
