I'm selling off some of my collection of unusual beads to make some space in my workshop, so if you love beads, please take a look

Sometimes there is nothing better than threading up a collection of different beads from the same part of the world and letting them sing out!

Full description

Old bottles and brass were recycled in West Africa to make these beads.

Beads: The brass beads are made from melted down brass poured into clay molds and known as the 'lost wax'method of brass bead making. It means that each individual bead is unique because the mould has to be broken to get the bead out.

The glass beads are called Krobo beads, after the area of Ghana where they have been made.for centuries in small quantities in local villages - not in factories!

The giant central millefiori bead was made in the Himalayas.

Uniqueness: When you wear this necklace you will be wearing a collection of tiny works of art - and you won't see one the same.

Fastening: This necklace is finished with a matching brass hook and double rings, made in the same area of West Africa.

Presentation: Your necklace will be sent in a presentation box ready to give to someone special (or to keep for yourself ).

Gifts: I can send to another address and include a handwritten message if requested.

Postage: I can usually post within 24 hours and postage is free.

Environment: All of my outer packaging is either recycled or reusable.
