I make shoulder bags from coffee sacks and wanted to use as much of the sack as possible. I had been saving the off cuts for potential future projects. My stitches have entwines with a local refill shop who needed a plastic free sponge along with other products for their customers. So here I am today for filling my need to use every scrap possible and making zero waste products for my local shop.

Try an eco friendlier approach to washing up and cleaning. Here is a plastic free sponge set. Contains a scouring pad
Made from an up cycled coffee sack and cleaning pad made from terry towering and waffle cotton.
The hessian one is good for more stubborn dirt, pots, cleaning vegetables etc. The other is great for plates, bowls and cleaning down worktops. Simply use like you would a run of the mill yellow and green sponge but pop it in the washing machine when dirty instead of the bin and reuse. Once the pads comes to the end and is showing sighs of ware (3-6months average life span) simply cut up and add to compost.
