I love turning wood, the joy of being the first person to see the grain as it appears is brilliant.
I only make individual items, the wood tells me what it wants to be: I tried to force a piece once and it nearly broke my finger, so now I listen to it.
I make bowls, tea light and candle holders, lidded pots, vases, Christmas decorations, hollow forms and sculptures.
I will even have a go at your own designs if you let me know what it is you are looking for.

Full description
Turned from Teak, Mahogany and Lemon wood. All the wood was from reclaimed from other items, the Teak was from a table, the Mahogany was a garden gate and the Lemon wood was a marine pile.
The lid is Mahogany and adds a counter colour to the soft brown of the teak.
The box is 12 cm square and 6 cm tall.
It will make an ideal desk box for sweets, trinkets, keys or coins.
The box was turned from solid and the legs lift the bowl off the table by about 5mm.
