This is, to me, the most beautiful of all British birds. That brilliant flash of colour as it flies past is amazing.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted, unique and very special.
This is a very pretty little British Kingfisher. It has wings of bright turquoise made from some very shiny iridescent glass, its throat is iridescent white, chest is rust coloured and beak iridescent purple.
I love this little bird. It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and iridescent colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light.
It hangs from a little silvery chain and is 11cm high and 9cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
This will make a wonderful present, at any time, as a special gift for someone you love.
