A happy little girl is being carried away by a big red balloon!
This is a cute, original, illustrative piece of textile art which I have created using free motion embroidery...drawing with the needle. The little toddler sized girl has been stitched in dark grey thread on a cream cotton canvas background. Her pretty polka dot pale blue dress has been appliqued from a cotton fabric. Tiny stitches make up her little buckle shoes and hair band. The big balloon is also appliqued in a red cotton and the phrase Up, up and away stitched along the bottom.
This embroidered picture would look particularly good in a child's room, as a baby gift. It comes in an off white mount, in a protective sleeve. The overall size of the mounted picture is 35.5cm x 28cm. Actual embroidery size is 29 x20cm
