I wrote a story once about a weary bear, on his way home through the dark forest.

He was a tired bear, at the end of a long day at work, and the way home was hard, as the dusk gathered and fell all around him. All alone, he battled through forests and across lakes, until, at last, he saw a thin ribbon of smoke rising from the chimney of his house.

Home at last. My favourite part of the day.

I'm selling this little original pencil drawing to clear some room in my studio. I will be quite sorry to part with it, and I hope it goes to someone special.

If you would like it, it's £60. It's simply framed in a wooden frame - 8 x 10 inches.

Postage is free, and I'll send it safely wrapped.

Going home, as the dusk gathers, is my favourite time of the day. I know that soon I'll be warm, and cosy, with the fire on and all the people I love round the kitchen table with me. Let's hope it's dumplings for tea as well!
